Down jackets are generally made of high-density waterproof fabrics, ordinary woven fabrics, and high-density polyester taffeta.

First, the high-density waterproof fabric is fused with the surface fabric at high temperature to reduce the post-treatment process of fabric gap, so as to improve the down proof property of down jacket. The fabric is light and soft, and has wind proof, water-proof, and air permeability at the same time. Then, the ordinary woven fabric plus the down proof cloth generally adopts nylon or polyester with relatively low density. When making down jacket, adding the down proof cloth inside the fabric can play the role of down proof.

Secondly, the high-density polyester taffeta is a 300t polyester taffeta commonly used in down jackets. It is the most active down jacket fabric in the current market. It is common in coarse twills, and the wholesale price of fabric is also relatively high.

Generally, it is better to choose a down jacket with a large amount of down. You can put the down jacket on the case and pat it with your hands. The higher the fluffy degree, the better the quality of down and the more down it contains.
